Earlier this month we gave you details about our upcoming third full-length record "MetaForm". Today we would like to present to you the artist who created the cover. Her name is Silvie Ilieva and she goes by the alias Sinister Scenes.Woundheir: "Weโve known Silvie as an exceptionally talented photographer, who has captured some of our most memorable live moments over the years. We decided to trust her after just a single conversation, where we briefly outlined the idea behind "MetaForm". As creators, it is very important to us to provide the artist with the freedom to develop their vision independently. When we received the first sketches, we knew we had made the right choice. The final result left us speechless โ Silvie managed to perfectly capture the mood of the album."
Silvie adds: "I was genuinely excited when the band asked me to design the artwork for their new album. I had never worked on a record layout before, so for me this was both a challenge and an amazing opportunity. I received the lyrics, along with some initial guidelines about key elements, color palette, and format. My next step was to create a moodboard, combining reference imagery with excerpts from the lyrics.
The album title and lyrics touch on themes of metaphysics, cosmos, and the void. The very concept of the Cosmos carries feelings of the unknown, darkness, and eternity โ something beyond human perception. In my mind, this transformed into a visual narrative that I wove into the artwork. Beyond illustrating the lyrical content, the artwork also mirrors the musical atmosphere of "MetaForm" โprimordial, bleak, and all-encompassing. My goal was to develop the design as one continuous, flowing composition, where the cover, back, and inner panels seamlessly merge into a single, unified visual piece."
๐๐ข๐ฆ๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐ญ ๐๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ ๐๐๐ฐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ "๐๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ"Bulgarian black metal band ๐๐ข๐ฆ๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐ญ are set to release their long-awaited third full-length album, "๐๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ", in the final quarter of 2025. Alongside the announcement, the band have revealed the albumโs striking cover art.
Recorded during two sessions in 2024, the drums were tracked in Sofia ("Pepinio Records" / Yordan Borisov & Petar Bratanov, while the remaining instruments and vocals took shape at "๐๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ ๐ง๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ข๐จ" (Opus Magnum Studios ) in Brussels under the direction of ๐รฉ๐กร (ะะปะผะพัะปะฐะฒ ะะธะฟะฐะฝะพะฒ ), who also handled mixing and mastering.

โItโs been quite some time since "๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญฤ๐ฆฤ". Its release unfortunately coincided with turbulent times, which inevitably affected its promotion. With "๐๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ", we wanted to carefully refine our sound and capture the truest expression of the band as it stands today. Working with ๐รฉ๐กร again felt naturalโbeyond our friendship, thereโs a deep creative chemistry that pushed us forward.โ

The albumโs visual concept was brought to life by Bulgarian artist ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฏ๐ข ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ฏ๐ / ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐๐๐ง๐๐ฌ (Sinister Scenes ), known for her evocative concert photography. Speaking about the collaboration, the band state:
