Earlier this month we gave you details about our upcoming third full-length record “MetaForm”. Today we would like to present to you the artist who created the cover. Her name is Silvie Ilieva and she goes by the alias Sinister Scenes<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Woundheir: “We\u2019ve known Silvie as an exceptionally talented photographer, who has captured some of our most memorable live moments over the years. We decided to trust her after just a single conversation, where we briefly outlined the idea behind “MetaForm”. As creators, it is very important to us to provide the artist with the freedom to develop their vision independently. When we received the first sketches, we knew we had made the right choice. The final result left us speechless \u2014 Silvie managed to perfectly capture the mood of the album.”<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Silvie adds: “I was genuinely excited when the band asked me to design the artwork for their new album. I had never worked on a record layout before, so for me this was both a challenge and an amazing opportunity. I received the lyrics, along with some initial guidelines about key elements, color palette, and format. My next step was to create a moodboard, combining reference imagery with excerpts from the lyrics.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The album title and lyrics touch on themes of metaphysics, cosmos, and the void. The very concept of the Cosmos carries feelings of the unknown, darkness, and eternity \u2014 something beyond human perception. In my mind, this transformed into a visual narrative that I wove into the artwork. Beyond illustrating the lyrical content, the artwork also mirrors the musical atmosphere of “MetaForm” \u2014primordial, bleak, and all-encompassing. My goal was to develop the design as one continuous, flowing composition, where the cover, back, and inner panels seamlessly merge into a single, unified visual piece.”<\/div>\n
